I draw my inspiration from the areas of the urban landscape that the average city dweller takes for granted or that go unnoticed completely, including areas that are perceived as unsightly in urban architecture, for example, barbed fencing and satellite dishes. I take further inspiration from the colours seen in the urban landscape, from graffiti, and road markings, exploring this through a contemporary use of enamel.
All of my pieces are hand made by me, as I’m passionate about preserving craft through hand made objects.
