“For the Love of Wood”, Brooches by Atelier The Jewelry Story at Galerie Terbeek

Jan Kerkstra and Marion Pannekoek (Atelier The Jewelry Story) present their new line of “Big Brooches” at Galerie Terbeek today April 21st and tomorrow the 22nd, and again on April 28th and 29th.

Marion is also the editor of “The Latest Story” blog, one of my favorite blogs, where I always find interesting posts about architecture, fashion, crafts, jewelry, etcetera and, for the last few months, we have been communicating via the internet. Jan Kerkstra and Marion Pannekoek make jewels combining precious metals with different types of wood such as ebony, cherry and walnut, mainly using geometric shapes.  I love the elegance and simplicity of their brooches and I proposed to Marion that we make a trade.

  1. Montserrat how very special to see all my brooches on your blog!
Thank you so much that you found the time … you must be so very busy with all your preparations to go to Formentera!
And thanks again for the idea of trading … I love to have a jewelry piece made by you!
