Continuing our walk arround Munich during Schmuck, we visited the exhibition “Bewegung und Farbe” by Michael Becker at Bayerischer Kunstgewerbe-Verein E.V.  Drawings were also shown with his exquisite pieces, making you feel surrounded by the yellow of the gold he sometimes combines with lapis lazuli, green garnets and red pigment.  The exhibition runs until April 14th.

At Galerie Handwerk we visited one of the exhibitions I liked the most, “Die Renaissance des Emaillierens,” where you can see works made with enamel by more than 40 artists from around the world. Ramon Puig Cuyàs and Silvia Walz participate in this exhibition that is open until April 14th.  We were all very glad to see that two of Silvia‘s brooches were sold!

Akihiro Ikeyama is an artist who showed his pieces around Munich in a curious way — inside a showcase joined to a bicycle — and we met him several times. Here he is at the entrance of the museum Pinakothek der Moderne with his Mobile Gallery.
