If you visit Amsterdam, of course you can’t miss Galerie Ra which I visited in October during the exhibition by Lisa Walker, New Work, and Karl Fritsch, Rings and Dishes that runs until November 26th.
Si visiteu Amsterdam no podeu deixar d’anar a la galeria Ra. Hi vaig esser el passat octubre durant l’exposició de la Lisa Walker, New Work, i del Karl Fritsch, Rings and Dishes, que hi romandrà fins el 26 de novembre.
Works made by Lisa Walker always surprise me because she knows how to combine waste materials into a jewel that makes sense. Every ring by Karl Frisch is like exploring a new world and in this exhibition you can also see his silver dishes.
Galerie Ra will be celebrating its 35th anniversary in December and during those years, in addition to running the gallery, Paul Derrez has developed his own jewelry. I could see the Wisselring, a ring from 1975, and some of his bowls which presented just as well as other artists of the gallery.
